1 for 4 small pastries (2 spinach, 2 chicken)
150 for 4 books
40 for dinner at a decent restaurant
3 for an hour of internet access
20 for breakfast (salteña and hot chocolate)
3 for a postcard
7.50 to mail a postcard or letter
18 for an icecream sundae
40 for a t-shirt
100 for dinner at a fancy restaurant
180 for a nice alpaca sweater
Two people told me their salaries. One was 450 a month, another 350.
Patients paid 10 to see a doctor.
Prices for surgery ranged depending on income. I think the goal was about a months wages for the surgery. I saw receipts ranging from 200-400.
