May 28th, 2005Noted on my shampoo bottle:
“Discover Herbal Essences Rainforest Flowers shampoos and conditioners, with an exclusive blend of organic rainforest flower extracts that come to us in pure mountain spring water. Escape to a Rainforest so exotic, the experience will drive you wild.”
Noted on my bag of dried apples:
“Whoever said you can’t guarantee happiness clearly has never tried Archer Farms. We promise you’ll love every little bit, bite and sip. Guaranteed.”
Please tell me we are not that gullible!
Well, you did buy them, didn’t you?
Anyone who uses rainforest-scented shampoo has already proclaimed herself a candidate for this type of marketing.
I’d switch back to Sun-kissed Raspberry.
I selected the shampoo because of its color and name…I didn’t read what I quoted above until it was too late.
It is too expensive and doesn’t smell nearly as nice as sun-kissed rasberry!
I am trying to find a Shannon Costello that used to teach at Providence Christian Academy… If you are she, please e-mail Brad Franklin at bfranklin@berry.edu.
P.S. I recommend trying passion flower, but of course, to each his own. Cheerio.
